News - Exciting meeting planned for this Saturday, January 14th!

Hi Folks,
I hope everyone can make it to the meeting this Saturday. Regine Dossche of Orlando will be our program demonstrator. She is a local teacher and distributor for Powertex USA. She will demonstrate how the products are used for fiber art, mixed media, textile sculpture, assemblage, altered art, collage, 3D canvas art, embellishment art, paper art, art dolls, jewelry making, gourd crafting, clay making, altered books, found object art, photo transfers etc. . . . Find out more at our meeting this Saturday - 2 - 4 p.m. at Lake Eustis Museum of Art.

Regine will also be teaching a workshop for us on Saturday, January 21st, 2 - 6 p.m. In the workshop you will create a 3D fabric sculpture using wire and Powertex materials. This is a special 4 hour workshop, all materials are provided. The cost is $125 for members, $135 non-members. More information is available on the events page of our website:

In other news, our ANNUAL SHOW is fast approaching. Deadline for applications is January 20th. We hope many of you will have your applications ready for this meeting to ease the work of Verla and Mary. More information is available on the website where you can download applications.
