Hi Folks,
I hope to see many of you at our annual Christmas party this Saturday at LEMA. If you want to participate in the Yankee Auction, (and you know you want to), bring a wrapped, art related gift of something you made or bought for $10 or less. You may also bring a few of your favorite treats to share. Punch will be provided. Business will be kept to a minimum and fun to a maximum.

Future events:
The January meeting will feature a talk by Jackii Molsick on Painted Paper Collage. She will follow that up with a workshop on the same topic on January 19th. You can sign up for this workshop at the Dec. or Jan. meetings or by emailing Eileen Hinkle <ehcreativespirits@gmail.com>
The February meeting will feature a talk by Lee Bianco on how he paints historical characters in oil. This will be a chance to preview some of the work he will have in his new show at LEMA which starts on Feb. 22.
On February 16th. Marvyn will be teaching a wood engraving workshop at Harper Printmaking Studio in Eustis:
Wood Engraving is a printmaking method in which an image is engraved on a block of end grain wood using engraving tools. The block is then inked to create a relief print.
Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Bring a bag lunch)
Location: Harper Printmaking Studio,
1001 Lake Nettie Dr., Eustis
Cost: $30 (all materials are supplied)

SECRETARY: report read and moved to be accepted. Mary seconded.
TREASURER: we have $534.17 in checkbook.
WORKSHOPS : Deborah Shelley will present Portraits in Pastels, next Saturday, November 17th, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
ANNUAL SHOW: Applications are due by January 19th. Same format as last year, with 7 categories, $10 per piece, up to 3 pieces. All details in the Website and Newsletter.
NEW BUSINESS: December 8th will be our Christmas party with small gift exchange. Gifts to be art themed with $10.00 limit.
Our April meeting will be at the Wild Ibis studio at 133 North Grove St, Eustis.
Nancy moved the meeting be adjourned, June seconded.
