We hope to see many of you at our meeting this Saturday to watch the demonstration by Deborah Shelley. Deborah will be demonstrating Painting Portraits in Pastel and other media. She will comment on the differences between painting from photos and painting from a live model. Part of this demo will include a live model!
After the demo you will have a chance to sign up for her workshop on this topic scheduled for Saturday, November 17th, 1:30 to 4:30. If you can't attend the meeting, you can sign up by contacting Eileen Hinckle at ehcreativespirits@gmail.com (317) 462-7360.
Cost of the workshop is $30 for members. A materials list will be available at the meeting and on the website under workshops. If you don't have materials we have extra.
This Friday, November 9th will be the second Art in the Alley show in Mt. Dora.If you are in Mt. Dora on Friday, stroll down Royellou Lane between 6 and 9 p.m. Several local artists will be selling their works in the lane including member Marvyn Rivett who will be in the lane between 4th and 3rd streets. Many of the galleries in town will also be open until 9 p.m.
If you arrive before 6 p.m. check out member Richard Schuchman's art display in the W.T. Bland Library.
