Members - Marvyn Rivett

After retiring from teaching in 2001, I was able to take up art on a full time basis. I have studied with several prominent artists including Tony Bianco, Albert Handel, Maggie Price, Doug Dawson, Jack Pardue, Michael Chesley Johnson and Richard McKinley.
I am a member of several art groups including the St. Catharines Art Association, The Eustis Art League, and Harper Printmaking Studio.
I paint in oils or acrylics. I enjoy plein air painting in the Niagara region in the summer and the central Florida region in the winter. I also enjoy making relief prints from blocks of lino or wood.

Through my art I hope to share the pleasure I find in nature, colour and design.
